If you could paint anything, what would you paint a picture of?

Rain on a dark night, hint of the moon, wind, leaves falling, trees, lots of more trees and a person in a long trencoat facing backwards the wind blowing his/her hair.

I paint landscapes. My favorite subject lately has been boats. Boats at a dock, boats up on the beach, boats, boats... I've promised a friend to paint a landscape for him of an old weathered barn in a field. I'm lucky enough to live in the Pacific Northwest so there are scenes everywhere just waiting to be painted!

Hello! I like your question! I had to think a moment, and then a number of ideas came to me! I'd like to paint a picture of my mother from memory who's been in God for over 16 years. I also thought I'd like to try painting some ideal view of heaven, though I've not been there... but I've drempt of it somewhat. I'd like to paint some wonderful scene from New York City, my favorite city. I'm not getting there this year, so that would be great. I'd also like to paint an scene of a lovely woman in a beautiful flowing red dress while standing near a clear beautiful body of water with some roses in her hands. I used to wish I could have one painted of my mother taking some water from heaven and letting it fall on me. That would be great. Thanks for a neat question.

My preference is for birds and animals (usually large cats). If I need something easy I go with flowers. One single flower that fills the page.
