The WW online fee is $16.95 a month, plus $29.95 sign-up fee. Their program consists of eating within your "point" range, which gives you the freedom of eating regular foods, rather than relying on the company mailing you their meals. e.g. if you have a 29 point allotment for the day, you can have a slice of pizza if you're really craving it, but know that it'll cost you at least 12 points, and your other meals will have to be stricter. I found this program to be easier and less regimented (I'm not high-maintanence), plus it teaches you that hey, it's okay to have a piece of cheesecake once in a while as long as you make up for it by eating healthy during your other meals. I found it helped me make those decisions rather quickly: do I really want to sacrafice 18 points for cheesecake?? Not today!

JC has a special running (it seems to ALWAYS be running) right now: 6 weeks for $36, plus the cost of food. I have a friend and her daughter that are joing JC right now, and I hear the meals are not as scrummy as Kirstie Alley is making them out to be. Personally, I'd go with WW- it's less money and more flexible. The JC plus? You have the potion of meeting with a personnel coach/counselor, so if you need that kind of discipline, JC might be an option to consider. But honestly, WW is so easy to follow.
