dont just blow dry it !! i have curly hair too, and when i wanna make it straight, i towle dry straight outa the shower, then use a blow dryer til my hair is completely dry, then i straighten it with a straightening iron. to hold the hair away from stil curly hair, put the litle sections in ponys.

Use a rattail comb to part your hair into manageable sections and put each section up with a covered ponytail holder (no rubber). Start at the bottom and work your way up. If your hair dries slightly before you get to it, wet it again. For the top, use a bristle brush and a small amount of either mousse or styling gel on wet hair. Dry the roots first and work your way to the end while slowly pulling the brush through. Like others have said, you may need to use a straightening iron to make it completely flat. Just be careful to dry your hair before straightening it, or you will literally cook your hair. (That's what the steam is doing...not good.) Good luck to you!!

I don't blow dry straight; it's too much work! I use a straightener. I pin my hair up in sections, then I straighten one section at a time from the bottom up.

I just part my hair down the middle. Blow dry one half and then the other. when it is all done then i flip over and blow dry underneath just in case i miss something. That always works for me. And then i flat iron
