since november i been having on and off pains on my lower right side a little under the belly button to the right. i got an ultrasound in december, blood work in february, been to the doctor a few times for this. im scared that this is appendicitis, however all my test come back negative. i still have things pains/crarmps only when i push in, when i hold there i have no rebound pain. Im scared that this is appendicitis and im delaying it and the poisons are gonna kill me. im not in dying pain, i still workout and run. but its just annoying and hasnt gone away yet. i have been stress out since july, do u think thats its from stress that causing this is the same area. its not the left side its only the lower right, and not pain more like cramps when i push in, and the pain i feel it above it not where my fingers are. has this happened to anyone before , i need some input i hope this isnt appendicitis and im delaying this...i been told appendicitis happens quickly not 4 months like this

That's not entirely true all the time. I heard of someone being diagnosed with "chronic appendicitis" He went on for months with the same thing you're talking about, no other symptoms except for the pain. The appendix was, for lack of a better explanation, on it's way out, just took a long time. Then, all of a sudden, I don't know how long it was exactly, he had the pain, fever, diarrhea, lack of appetite, all the traditional signs, went to ER and they did the appendectomy. So, I wouldn't completely rule it out yet. Just go about your business, your body will give you ALL the signs when it must come out!
Good luck and good health!

If it's been going on since November, it's not appendicitis. When it gets back enough that it hurts, you've got 24 hours to get it treated before it bursts, and believe me, you'd know about that. You don't know what the phrase "writhing in pain" really means until you've done it. So chill. Have they checked your for a UTI? Stressing about it is going to make it worse. All your psychological angst might even be giving you phantom pains at this point.

If it were Appendicitas I doubt that the pain would be going on for this length of time. However, there are several different things that could be going on. Have you ever had surgery around that area??? If so, it could be scar tissue. Other things that it could be a kidney or bladder infection. Maybe you have irregularies in your kidneys. It could also be a blockage in your intestines. Contact your doctor see if they could have a cat scan done or even xrays. I have a feeling that it may be due to your intestinal tract. Does celiac disease run in your family??? Im so sorry for your discomfort and I do hope that you find relief soon!

im thinking its either a kidney infection or a bladder infection.Im no doctor but I am in the medical field.I would make a doctors appointment and tell them that you think you have an infection of some sort. Its better if they know what to look for.hope it works out for you.take care! p.s~ In the meantime I would get a few hot packs and put it on the affected area, drink some hot decaff tea and try to relax a bit.

if you're a woman, I would say see a gynecologist.
if you're a guy, my dad used to have a chronic appendicitis. it would flare and then go away. i've never heard of it except with him.
it could be gas pains also. gas can cause terrible pain. you may have developed a small hernia. the doctors should be able to figure it out. keep going back and find new docs if needed.

IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU MAY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR GALLBLADDER NOT YOUR APPENDICS. YOU GALLBLADDER CAUSES PAIN RIGHT UNDER YOUR BELLYBUTTON YOUR APPENDICS IS LOWER DOWN JUST ADOVE YOU GROWIN ON THE RIGHT SIDE. YOU MAY HAVE A VERY SMALL STONE THAT IS CAUSING THE REACURRING PAIN. IF YOU WERE IN ANY REAL TROUBLE YOU WOULD HAVE SEVER PAIN THAT WORSENS AND DOES NOT COME AND GO. YOU COULD ALSO MAYBE HAVE STOMACH PROBLEMS OR A URINARY TRACT INFECTION. IF IT CONTINUES AND YOUR DOCTOR CAN'T TELL YOU WHY GET A SECOND OPINION

It sounds like you may be having problems with your ileocecal valve. This is the valve between the small intestine and the colon. I had the same symptoms. Gently massage the area when it hurts, and putting a hot water bottle on it may also help. I don't know what causes it, but it is sure annoying.

Sounds like you pulled something . physically or through stress or some trauma, swelling . I would get more testing done . And if you've had problems before with appendics , get them out.

Have you been checked for a Hernia... Umbilical Hernia? Are you having nay other symptoms than you mentioned... Diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite... Could be something other than appendicitis.. Have your self checked by a Gastroenterologist It could be something intestinal....
