For a class project, this girl, that I partner up with, asks to exchange numbers with me rather then just using e-mail. At the end of the semester I tell her I'm going to delete her number b/c the project is done and the semester is over with. She smiles and tells me to just hang on to it for a bit. At the start of the spring semester I run into her and we talk for a minute and I mention that we should get together sometime and hang out. She agrees and points out that she still has my number and that I still have hers. A couple of days later I call and leave a voicemail asking her if she wanted to get together and hang out and to call me back either way. Two weeks and no call back (I find out it's b/c she's been busy with school and work). So I call her again and leave the same voicemail. Within an hour she calls me back and we just talk for about 10 minutes about school and what we've been up to. And she never brought up the question about getting together sometime as I didn't either.

Note that when we were talking the reason I didn't bring up the invitation is because when I was about to it felt as if she knew I was about to and continued to talk in order to cut me off. That or I'm just being paranoid. And while I am interested, I also don't want to look like a fool either so any input is greatly appreciated.

She's a tease. Its pointless, and not very nice, but she likes to lead men on without making any commitments. She MIGHT like you, and shes just a little shy, or coming out of a bad relationship. If thats the case, keep talking to her. Dont let her get to you though. Be straightforward and ASK HER if she has a boyfriend, if shes interested in you, something like that. Dont live with regret over a silly girl.

whoa complicated haha ok well it sounds like this girl likes u. first off shes told you to keep her number just incase and she even agreed to meet you after you left her a msg. its understandable that she was busy before when you called the first time but she could've easily told you to f*** off and leave her alone but she didnt so thats good haha, keep playing it cool, you dont want to seem too overkeen but don't act all distant from her, girls hate that, they like a guy to make them feel good, so compliment her when you see her, like on how her hair looks that day, or what she's wearing but don't take it too far so you compliment her butt, its a little too soon for that. Slowly as you get to know each other now take it to the next step, ask her out for a meal or to see a movie, play it cool.
Good Luck

That's really odd...it seems leik she liekd you duting the project, but then when you called her and talked for ten minutes, it doesnt seem liek shes interested. Try calling her again and tlaking to her in school and staryt the "sparks" again if you like her..if she continues with this wierd attiytude, shes not worth it!
