A stick, a string, a coffee can or oatmeal container.

Attach the stick to the side of the coffee can or oatmeal container. Tie a string to the end of the stick. Punch a tiny hole into the center of the base of the coffee can or oatmeal container. Pass the string through the hole. Pull it tight and tie a knot to secure.

Now you have a stringed instrument. You can pluck the string and change the notes by bending back or forward slightly on the stick.

Get some different lengths of fishing wire, and tighten them around some small steel hooks on a wooden board.

This should make a pretty basic string instrument. I made something similar to this back in grade 6. :)

Hi. A musical instrument? Turn a bottle into a whistle by blowing across the top opening and change the pitch by squeezing it.

Can you use a shoe box and rubber bands? Stretch the rubber bands over the shoe box at various tightness then strum like a guitar. Also wax paper, you can make a kazoo. Pots and pans for drums, metal lids for symbols.

Spoons or Saw are the most difficult in my experience.

You'll find spoons at: http://www.strumhollow.com/how_to_play_spoons.htm

For the saw go to:
