i have tried everything to get images from my camera i even brought a new video but i am just getting a blank picture when i rewind the tape what ive just recorded on. can someone please help as its driving me mad, i have connected all leads as it says i think

You should be able to take the video output of the CCTV camera and feed it into the video in of your VCR. You will have to change the input setting of the VCR to "video in" (also called Line in). If everything is set up properly you should also be able to monitor your CCTV camera on the TV that is hooked up to the VCR.

With the cheapness of area for storing, maximum CCTV cameras do checklist, yet recordings are in basic terms saved for a quick time, e.g. a week or a month, till now being overwritten with new pictures. they don't shop an archive of all pictures; that is impractical. this technique helps pictures to be retrieved if a criminal offense happens or some thing else properly worth watching occurs, without requiring somebody to be watching the digicam in any respect cases.
