The soul that sinneth, it shall die." Ezekiel 18:20. "Every living soul died in the sea." Revelation 16:3.
According to God's Word, souls do die! We are souls, and souls die. Man is mortal (Job 4:17). Only God is immortal (1 Timothy 6:15, 16). The concept of an undying, immortal soul goes against the Bible, which teaches that souls are subject to death.

People say we go to heaven or hell when we die...where is that in the bible?

So yes a soul can die.

I think that a soul can die. Our physical body dies, yes, but our soul is supposedly our 'essence'. Well, this 'essence' can still make the choice not to move on, can't it? Do we succumb to the powers of the universe or God or energy? Don't we still practice free will? Maybe a soul can die --and maybe the physical aspect doesn't necessarily have to die first. (look at life support patients for example) or people who have lost all hope...people who never really 'live'. Our souls do the living people - our bodies do the maintaining. Yes, a soul can die.

No. Our bodies die, but our souls will live forever. The trick is deciding where you want to live. In Heaven with you loving father, or in Hell, completely separated from him. Not a tough decision for me, but then again, I love God.

In my religion there are souls that do die.
It is called spiritual death. These are the worse ones basically sons of perdition. That means having a full knowledge of God and turning your back on all good.
You cannot recieve this unless you have a perfect knowledge of God and must be extreamly accountable.

Good question, I don't think so however I do not believe souls go to heaven or hell.
