I have no idea where to start.

You'll actually be using Windows Movie Maker , not Windows Media Player persay.

Use Paint to draw all the different slides/picture/ animations (with dialog and speech bubbles). Basically you'll be doing it stop-motion style (or flipbook style).

Then you'll open Windows Movie Maker and load up all your slides and animations into the project folder. From here you'll be putting up the slides in series and setting how long pictures will be displayed. (So it would be mere seconds).

Then you can add sound and voice-overs to it.

It will take some time, but if you're dedicated you can do it. Have fun man

i don't think there is any way you could use Paint program and Windows Media Player to make a short movie, but you sure can use windows movie maker to make short or long movie either by using videos or pictures and sound.
