My mam always told me you know the day your getting old because its the very day you think the Police look young! Sorry to break the news

This is the old joke that goes; 'you know you're getting old when the police start looking young'. To which you should reply; 'yes, and you know when you are getting really old when lavatory attendants start looking young'. I think the problem is that our policemen, that you may just occasionally see on the beat, not only look younger but don't look very awesome any more. They are the pc liberal manifestation of our wimpish emasculated society; ineffective and chasing all the soft targets.

No. You are getting older. It used to be said that a sign of approaching old age was that all the policemen looked young OK there may be some young cadets or probationers out there but just as many( some people would say not enough)mature policemen going about their business.

Policing as a tedious and energy sapping job, demand young and strong adults, who can career it through. Do you want octogenarians to be in the army?

No my friend we are simply getting older ,last time I when to hospital I would swear that I was treated by a 12 year old!!
