Is it ok to be a little mad that you were practically ignored at your girlfriends house last night. There were times when she was talking with her family but other time when she hust seemed to forget I was there. Then when I left, I ended up being the bad guy because I made some comment unknowingly that was bad. Is it ok for me to be upset?

She was ignoring me before I said what I shouldn't have. And she said there was no way I could know that would be a bad thing to say.

That stinks! And it would be frustrating, and I don't blame you for getting irritated. But... is this a common problem? Does it happen that often? If the answer is no, just look at it as your gf was having an "off night". If it DOES happen often, then I would see how you could start being concerned. If it becomes a habit, maybe you should find someone who will pay attention. n_n

Yep, it is okay to be upset but it is both wise and courteous to know when you've been foolish and to apologize for your bad behavior. So "Man - Up!!" and apologize to your girl and her family. They'll respect you for doing the right thing. Of course you also need to clue your girl in as to why you acted like a donkey so it won't happen again.

Grizzzly...you need to talk to your gf and see what it is you said that made her mad. It's possible she was entertaining others and thought you would just join in. Are you grizzly? That might be your problem. ;)

You can be mad for a little while, but then get over, life is too short!

It's understandable, but maybe she had friends at the party whom she knew much longer than you.
