Autoroute and AA routeplanner both rely on off peak travel conditions. However when travelling into London I have found these predictions to be wildly inaccurate.

Unfortunately, in London, you'll have to live with inaccurate estimated travel times because traffic is very unpredictable. The only predictable thing about it is that it will generally be bad.

I have used www.maporama.com in the past, and it's been pretty accurate when it estimates time for travel at least to other areas of the country. It's certainly more accurate time-wise than Googlemaps (maps.google.co.uk).

Good luck, if you find one better, let me know.
