I think the meaning of life is to gain knowledge and experiance that we could not until we experianced opposition through gaining a body and living without the knowledge of our creator.
I grew up in Boston and was a child abandonded by my parents. I grew up in foster home s and experianced much opposition. I have seen every type of evil on this planet I think.
I decided to seek out God and try living his commandments-in doing so I felt feelings and saw blessings in my life that I have never seen before. I had such of a comparison as to living life by Gods laws and living life through peoples laws through the opposition that I faced in my life.
There are so many things in this world like porno, drugs, substances, vanity and things to that degree that try to give life other meaning beyond what it is suppose to.
Satan lays snares and distractions to try and confuse the purpose of life.

On a literal scale
We are all here by accident and luck . We are very lucky and the chances of us being here are like .0000000000000000001 out 99999999999999999...... and so on. Also they were many different species that could have out competed our hominid ancestors before humans. they where plauges and many natural disasters that could have destoryed our existince.
Also Because even before you are born you are a sperm and there is over trillions of sperm in a male and you get to make it out of all of them.
There fore there is no literal purpose in life except for surviving and being the fittest while making offspring to perserve the specie.
On a cosmic scale:
People create there own futures with the decisions they make.
There for your meaning of life is based on what you think and the choices you make.

God created this world the way it is because it it the best way to create the next world to come. We were created to love God and each other. Love is the one thing that God can not create because to forse someone to love makes that love meaningless. Love requires free will and with free will you get sin. The meaning of life is to love and in that way become like God.
