come here on the tattoo part of the board and say "tattoos are dumb" or "i dont like tattoos". i dont go on the home and garden place and put "gardening is stupid"....if its not my interest i dont even go on that part of the yahoo answers...so i wanna know why they do it, when all they get is a low rating.

We all know its irritating, but this is an open and public forum meant for all people with all sorts of opinions and feelings. When you post a question, it also goes on a main page where everyone can see it and everyone is allowed to voice an opinion about it.
It sucks sometimes to deal with the scrutiny and b.s. from people, just ignore and see past it. If the comments are bad enough, report them. But there is nothing much that can be done, thus the reason the regulars have a tattoo forum where you don't have to worry about that crap.

I think it must come down to they just have no life. There are boards on Q&A I have never been to and will never go. If I am not interested I sure am not going to waist my time like they do coming here.

i often wonder that myself. in fact, i think tonight, the thumbs-down trolls or going a little crazy. the only other times i can remember stuff like this happening is when narrow-minded religious zealots try to convert non-believes. maybe they're crazy religious narrowminded zealots?
or they're just bored and prefer to bash questions they dont like instead of answering ones they do.

I think a lot of the 'haters' are people who are too afraid to express themselves or are too afraid to commit to something for life. Or frightened of what others will think of them if they do something different. So they come on here to bash us to make themselves feel better.

Too much time on their hands. They think it is cooler to be judgemental than it is to mind their own flipping business or to be a bit more open minded. Cuz they are effing stupid. Cuz they are effing jerks. Cuz they are effing not nice in general.
Tattoos-done well and with meaning-are things to be admired.

Tattoos are a personal choice. Old ideas and traditions change with time. If you want one consider all the pros and cons and make your own decision. YOu have to live with it the rest of your life. Even if you get it removed the scar will always be there.
