Some shampoos do help with this. You may really just need to use a clarifying shampoo once a week (if you aren't already) if your hair is oily or you use a lot of product. This removes the gunk from your hair so that it isn't weighed down. (Alberto V05 Kiwi Lime is my favorite.) If this isn't helpful, invest in a shampoo that will give your hair body, but for the love of all things, please buy salon-quality shampoo. Someone suggested Herbal Essences. It smells phenomenal but will wreak havoc on your hair if it is color-treated. Another suggested Pantene Pro-V. Avoid that at all costs because Pantene actually coats your hair with wax. You think your hair is smooth and silky when, in actuality, it's drying it out.
If your hair is color or chemically treated, try Kenra's Platinum Sulfate-Free Volumizing shampoo (available at Trade Secret). If it isn't, go for Matrix's Amplify line (you can now find this at CVS, Eckerd's, etc.).
Good luck!

not always, shampoos mostly strip the oils (natural or not) from your hair. if you want body in your hair, dont use any clarifying shampoos.
bumble & bumble has the best line.
