I am thinking about attending the Landmark Forum couse next week.

Does anyone know anything about it? It costs $440 and runs from Friday 8 a.m. to Sunday 12 midnight and Tuesday evening. So it will involve quite a bit of my time.

I am wondering if its worth and what anyone who has taken the course thought about the experience.

It's worth every penny (and more) (and three and a half days is a relatively short period of time to do this kind of workshop).
I did the Landmark Forum more than a decade ago and still see repercussions from it nearly every day (especially if I'm awake and aware!). As Landmark says, it's not therapy. It's a way of observing, listening to and participating in (your) life.
The event itself is extremely well-run.
Go for it...and good luck!

I took the course 7 years ago and it is definately worth the time! I made some real breakthroughs during the course and I came away from it a better person. However, you have to give it serious thought before deciding for yourself. Talk to others who have attended and make your own mind up. Good luck!

Have done a number of similar courses. They are what you make them. If you are building up for a goal, target, focus, they can be instrumental in getting you there. Make it about you amongst others in a safe place. (friends) Look at you, listen about you, and give sincere answer when asked the same. Often support groups pop out from them. You can read all the books a lot cheaper but the cost is usually fair for the stucture and stratagies.

Best of luck!

My friend really wants me to take these, but I am not where I can afford to spend the money. I have talked to 3 people that have attended. All are very into the motivation and self improvement -- law of attraction , etc... They loved the course and thought it was worth every penny and took more after that!

you are over thinking right now and is getting in the way of your desicon. curious, doubting joe, scared and being the only human without issues are no reasons to attend this type of education. we all want to improve ourselves without putting work and effort into it - this is highly imposible. you will always take out what you put in, the decision the desicion is yours. good luck!
