I just saw the commerical for it on TV, about if you do not find someone in 6 months, they would give you 6 months free. If you don't find someone in 6 months, why would you want to continue? I mean, it is obvious that the commerical wants you to think that you can get someone in 6 months, so if you don't wouldn't you feel too bad to continue? I just think it is funny.
And if you have found someone on a online dating site, I am saying nothing is wrong with that! Find love anyway you can.

I am not saying online dating is funny. I have friends who have done it before. What I am saying was the commerical was funny! I mean no offense!

It certainly works for some people!
The bottom line for those who would want another six months if the first didn't do it, is that it just takes that one special person to find you and if you're not out there then there is no hope!

I'm not sure about Match.com. As a dating consultant, I use the below site for all of my clients. DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO DOUBT ONLINE DATING SITES. I use this site for ALL of my clients and have a 90% success rate with them finding likely partners and candidates!
If you commit to being honest, and commit yourself to your search. If you spend the time and effort towards finding a good person, then you will do so.

Met my wife on Yahoo Personals. It was just another way to meet someone with similar needs etc.
It might be funny to you but it's a great thing if you do not have a large social circle to run in.
As the youngest engineer in a male dominated office it saved me.

If I were single I still don't think I would ever use Match.com or any of those sites but my friend did and wound up getting married to a nice guy. You never know, right?!

I've been skeptical about whether it works as well. The commercials just seem phony, maybe because I have a bias against on line dating I don't know.

I never had any luck with them, seems that the guys on there are only looking for quickie hookups, or something that stays online. I had much better luck finding one in the real world, and it didn't cost me a dime, lol!

I have a friend that it works great for, but then again I often question his standards.

It'd didn't work for me. Instead of fixing me up with a woman they fixed me up with a male ex-con who then proceded to man rape me.
