i have a large pair of wings on my back, they go from the top of my shoulder blades all the way to the lower part of my back. i have heard some people saying they like them better on guys or they like them better smaller, i just wanted to know what everyone thought of them. mine are very elegant, i went with just black and gray wash, so no colors for me, the kind of wings that would look awesome in black and white photos, ok well let me know what everyones input is about them.

well i agree with the whole, getting them small is a waste of canvas (for lack of better words) and plus most people cant deal with that much pain, thats why not many people have them as large as i do. and as far as having this tattoo when im old, it wont matter bc my whole generation is going to be tated up so it wont be anything out of the norm for our grandchildren to have grandparents with tattoos, if ya think about it that way, ya know.

I love large, beautiful well done wings on a woman's back; its sexy. I think they only look good when they are big, the small ones just waste the canvas and they look pathetic (for lack of a better term).

It depends what you like for yourself. For most guys. Tattoos on women are old news and not as hot as they used to be, especially, wings on your back, something across your lower back, or a ring of flowers around your ankle... It looks like by your responses that women still think it looks hot on themselves. But it depends on who you are trying to look hot for and who is veiwing it.

I do tattooing for myself. If I cared what people wanted and approved of things would look quite different. What I think is hot is someone that has art that they completely own. What is not hot is brand names and inked cliches.

I think you made an awesome choice going with black and grey colors, wings of that color look more graceful and delicate.
My friend has wings on her back and its the most god awful colors together not to mention it looks sloppy.

Unoriginal with no continuing theme. Now uber popular, in a few more years, it will be an overused,overseen,and ultimately cliche piece of work. It's like a barbed wire band on your arm. Just my opinion.
