Yes, I love Jesus.
I love the Man He was when He walked among us.
I love the things He did and the things He taught.
I love the Man Who laid down His life in order to purchase redemption for me.
I love the Man Who rose from the tomb.
I love Him today, when He whispers within my heart.
I love Him, because He first loved me.

I don't love the dead.
Well, not entirely true; I do love my late family members and friends. But I don't love dead people who never were in my life. I can espect George Washington, but I don't love him.
I can respect what Jesus represents, but I don't love him.
