coke made surge, but they had to stop making it because to many people were dying of heart attacks from the rush of energy and sugar that was in it. although vault is the same thing just with less sugar and less of a kick. i hate that surge did that cause it was good

Vault is an energy drink with a flavor, produced by the same company that makes Mountain Dew. Surge, I think was produced by 7UP, but I am not sure. The taste was horrible so they stopped making it.

Surge was produced by Coca-Cola.
Since 2002, a community of Surge lovers have been built around savesurge.org, and have been widely credited for the release of Vault, Coke's new Surge-like soda.[citation needed] While Vault tastes similar to Surge, it is yellow in color rather than light green. The beginning of 2005 saw a campaign to bring Surge back to the shelves of Wal-Mart; according to savesurge.org, this resulted in Wal-Mart executives contacting Coca-Cola about bringing the drink back, but the soft drink company elected not to make a deal.

Surge was introduced in 1996 by the Coca-Cola Company to compete with Pepsi's Mountain Dew. Sales were good for the first few years, but eventually started to slip. Production was discontinued in the US in 2001. Norway is the only country where you can still buy this soft drink.
Vault is also made by Coca-Cola and is rather similar.

Coca-cola made it, and it supposedly didn't sell very well. Vault is similar, but it isn't the same flavor. There's a website with a petition to bring it back, that also has lots of info about it. Here's a link:

They just changed the name to Vault. Same taste, new look. Ever heard of that? I was disappointed when they stopped making it too. Then I did research only to find out it was vault.

pepsi made surge i think and vault is pretty close to that.......id do the extreme mt dew
