Has anyone else noticed that Wal-mart still has tainted dog and cat food on their shelves? I heard people talking that some of the pet food was still there. It got the best of me. I drove to Wal-mart this morning. Sure enough it is still there. Their shelves are stocked full. No open spaces.

Yep, read it on consumerist.com

I can't stand Wal-mart overall. They're evil in my opinion (any company that's willing to screw it's employees over doesn't care about it's consumers either in my opinion).

Even more interesting is the fact that the recall was due to rat poisoning in the food.

Is it just me, or does that seem very suspicious?

I noticed that as well at a grocery store yesterday. The food you're seeing may be from a different batch. The food effected are only from certain dates and certain varieties, so the products on the shelves should be fine but I'd still hold off until the whole thing blows over, just to be on the safe side.

Our Wal-Mart has removed all the dog and cat food. The shelf was empty with a notice on. This is in Benton, KY.

The are still on the shelves everywhere except Petco and Petsmart in the city that I live in. I just hope that nobody bought any of it. The stores should be held responsible.

Are you sure it is the brands that is on the list. Whiskas, alpo, 9 lives, gravy train and some others have not been recalled. I personally, threw out all my canned food for the cat and dog , regardless of the brand, not taking any chances.

Yeah but apparently it is the batch that is clean, not the batch that is poisoned with rat poison.. Our Walmart has their shelves full too.. Only one missing is the Ol Roy canned oddly enough..
