i used to have black heads( i guess) and i started using biore pore packs and those black heads really came off.. so now i'm left with pores.

and this yr.. when i tried tweezing them out, i found out that they looked like dead skins instead. like skins that are held tightly by pores...

euuw..

and any recommendation for these strange black heads or dead skins?

those are blackheads that you're tweezing out. biore strips work well, but you MUSt use a toner afterwords to shrink the pores back down. a great option is weekly or monthly facials. they can do a procedure on you called desincrustation, which softens grease deposits (blackheads or comedones). then the softened gunk is pulled out with a small vacuum, and finished with a toner. an esthetician can also give you tips on other good at home products

It sounds like exfoliating would be helpful. You can get an exfoliating facial sponge at the drug store or I'm a real fan of the Swiss Ives Apricot Peach Scrub.

Exfoliating will help your skin "turn over" and keep the dead skin and blackheads to a minimum.

Black heads are just pores with dirt and dead skin in them.

get an extractor from the beauty supply store. It squeezes the pore out safely. Use a gentile toner after to clean any exess gunk.

BeautiControl has a great at home facial set. "Skinlogics" - if you have normal skin or "All Clear" - if you also have acne. Both have a cleanser, tonic, scrub and moisturizer. There are other products in the All Clear line I would recommend and our Chemical Peel.

Check it out online or email if you have further questions.
