They found Rat poison in the cans of recalled foods.

it sound's horrible we had a similar thing a few years ago in the UK in baby food some sad person put glass in it why i don't know I'm sure we Will hear about it in the UK soon hope your dogs are OK

It is very sad, our cat almost died, but luckily he stopped eating the food and we bought another type. He was going into renal failure because of it. My dogs however dont eat the recalled foods so I was thankful for that. I would have had alot of sick animals at home. I just can't believe they aren't more careful. Its such a shame. It is very sad...the dog foods that you are "highly" recommended to feed our "kids" is poised with of all things rat poison!!!! I am so glad I weened my pug off wet food! Just in time it seems!

Honestly,I would never have considered feeding these low quality foods to my pets anyway. This is a great time for people to start researching exactly what they are feeding their pets. Look for human grade ingedients on the packaging.
