No one can tell you what it will feel like or how bad it will hurt. Everyone is different and everyone has a unique tolerance to pain. Rest assured you will feel something and chances are it won't be pleasant. Usually with all piercings, they are done and over with rather quickly and the pain is tolerable though the area can be sore for a few days to a few weeks.
Its very important to have the piercings done by a skilled professional and its important to make sure you take care of them very well. When they are pierced you are not suppose to play with the piercings for 3 months to ensure proper healing and to reduce risk for rejection, migration and infections. You also must wear a bra day and night for the first 3-4 months to ensure they aren't tugged around a lot. Nipple piercings take at least 9-12 months to heal so you need to keep them clean and take care of them very well.
For my nipple piercings I just used salt soaks to clean them 2 times daily and would just wash them in the shower daily. Every piercer will suggest a slightly different cleaning process, but trust me, salt soaks do wonders.

If you get them done, always go to your piercer with questions, problems and concerns before you rush off to a doctor.

It varies with different people because people have different pain tolerances. For me, it was not horrible, take a deep breath right as they are ready to put the needle in, and exhale as they are pushing it through. Helps a lot. The pain is really quick, the healing process isn't horrible. Soak them in a mixture of sea salt and warm water, and in the shower clean any 'crusties' off with a q-tip and non-scented anti-bacterial hand soap. Also, move the jewelry around in the shower while you clean them. Many piercers say to get hoops to begin with, but I got straight barbells and it was so much better! I've had both, and the round hoop ones got caught on things more often and were more of a hassle, a straight across barbell will not get in the way as much. Hope that helps, and by the way, my husband is not much of a piercing fan but he absolutely loves them!

i think it varies from person to person, but in my personal experience, it was the worst piercing pain ever, i get choked up thinking about it and it was probably 5 years ago that i had it done, it also takes a long time to heal, but not after too long you cant really notice that its still in healing process, it made my nipples hard all the time.
About 2 years later i was getting my tonsils taken out and had to take them out for surgery and by the time it was over they were closed : [
I plan on getting them again sometime, but the thought of the pain scares me a bit, but it only lasted a second and its over, i was thinking of getting some medication for the pain and take something before i went to get it done, that way i would get the courage to go do it again. ha, but i suck, so i dont encourage it, unless your okay with doing that sort of thing...
just remember it only lasts for a second, and then its over and you got some nice accentuated nipples!!

hell...it hurts. i don't know what else you have had pierced...but all piercings only REALLY hurt while the needle's actually going through the skin...then it just feels like discomfort...
Like Nike says: JUST DO IT !
: )
Edit / More Info. for You:
The actual pirecing part is fast, but the healing tprocess takes a while, like 4 - 6 months to get to the point where you don't have to clean it and rotate it everyday.
Mine were REALLY sore (note that i said sore and not "painful"...it's not THAT bad.) for 2 weeks, then the soreness just went away....sometimes in the begining they get itchy, but that's good becuase that means they're healing (you know, like sometimes scabs will itch while they're healing.)
Anyways, if you want them you should totally go get them...i LOVE mine!!
= D

It hurts, but only when the needle is going through, and that only takes a second or two. It can take a while to heal. Just make sure to take care of it and you shouldn't have any problems. I was able to sleep on my stomach the night I had it done, so laying on it wasn't a problem. Just be careful when touching it. Don't pull on it or let it get caught on anything (ouch!!). Only move it or turn it when you are cleaning it.

the pain for nipple piercings varies a LOT more than most other piercings. i've heard from many different people that it didnt hurt, it did hurt, it didnt, etc. personally, i was clawing paint off the walls when i got them done. but my best friend said it didnt hurt her at all. so its hard to tell.
