Is doing pullups (when you make you fingers face your head) good biceps exercise? and is it better than seated dumbbell curls?

They both work the muscle simillarly.
I like pull ups better because you can cheat as much and you get full range of motion.

They are good exercises(both) but pull-ups will not isolate your biceps as seated dumbbell curls( When doing pull-ups correctly other muscles are involved). If I were to do one exercise for biceps, it would be seated(incline) dumbbell curls.
