I phoned a phone sex line last night and gave my credit card number to pay for it. How safe do you think it is?

DUDE! That's not safe! Now they have your name, your conversation recorded and your credit card number.

Thye know how you sound like and they can find out where you live through the bank.

This is the perfect setting for identity theft.

man why pay for phone sex when hookers are there ........ I can not understand why a guy would do that and not get personal finalization. let me tell ya when our son did this the investigator checked out these places and 9 chances out of 10 they said he is not even talking to a REAL WOMAN
they showed us where you guys are talking to a lot of soft voiced MEN.... GI's Making money on teh side ETC. Now think about that and put your credit card away.
SOME OF THEM have REOCURRING CHARGES meaning you may only talk one time but .....you will be billed monthly
Damn go get a prostitute. or a girl friend.
at least you will SEE WHAT YOU GETTING
and NO I AM NOT FOR PROSTITUTION either. But God Man
THINK.............................................

About as safe as having unprotected sex with a street walker. Just hope your credit card doesn't wind with an STD called CHARRRGE-IT.

It is definately not safe to do so. I wouldn't recommend that kind of thing. Many of those phone sex lines are really schemes and people who like to run con games.

Once you give your number out over the phone, you never know whos gonna get, word of caution, especially if you have a cordless phone, a lot of people have scanners that can listen in on phone calls, need i say more.

it's not safe at all, cause those lines are monitered most of the time and anyone could be listening and you can't really trust the person on the other end of the phone.

IF it was a legitimate sex line, then its probably a secure transaction.
