I really like this guy, and we've been friends for almost two years. We have a lot in common, we make each other laugh, and we talk a lot - things are going along great. Last year, before school ended, I got his e-mail, and we e-mailed at least once a day over the summer, if we weren't at camp or on trips. We still e-mailed when school started, although it stopped going as rapidly - he only e-mailed to ask for homework help, usually, although we did talk about other stuff. I had to start most of the conversations. Then, after winter break, he basically stopped e-mailing at all, except to ask for homework help rarely. He never calls for homework help, either - I sent him an e-mail on Saturday, and he hasn't replied, even though I know he's not doing anything for break.

Could it be that he's sick of me? I really like him, and we get along great at school - we talk a ton, smile, laugh with each other, et cetera. Can anyone think of why he doesn't want to e-mail me, but will talk to me?

What? No, we e-mail other people, but we did do one-on-one e-mailing over the summer, and now he's suddenly quit!

Maybe at home, he's thinking of someone else now, emailing her. That's just one possibility tho. Maybe he doesn't want to hurt you by taking up all your time at home and school, and then dating someone else.
