I have a sizeable microsoft access file that I need to import onto excel. Does anybody know how to do this? Step by step instructions would be appreciated. Thanks!

From Excel, try choosing Data => Import External Data => Import Data, and then navigate to the Access database file and select it. Then follow the prompts to choose the import options to tell Excel how to bring the data over.

It might be easier to Export it from Access.

Click on the Tables tab
Right click the Table
Click EXPORT...
Change SAVE AS TYPE (at the bottom of the pop-up) to "Microsoft Excel"
Set your path to the desired folder and click EXPORT

Or highlight the Table, then from the menu bar click:
TOOLS>>Office Links>Analyze with MS Excel

File > Open
Change the File Type to "mdb"
Browse to the database and open it
If there are multiple tables in the database, you will be prompted for which table to import
Follow the prompts fro there to format the data....
