I've used Dating Direct before, which is pretty good. It's free to post a profile and add someone to your 'favourites' so they know your interested, but to send a message you have to pay. Most other sites are like this too or more expensive, though some don't filter profiles as well so you can leave your email address on there, but this isn't recommended.

Free dating sites are not what you're looking for. As a dating consultant, I am constantly dealing with clients who try free dating sites and end up with all kinds of horror stories to tell me... Unfortunately, you end up having to weed through garbage users on those site... and waste more of your time with them than you do with actual likely candidates! I have heard of anything from married people posing as single, kids playing stupid pranks, or people completely lying about themselves and who they are...
I use the below website for ALL of my clients and have had a 90% success rate with helping them to find dates that develop into long-term relationships. Some of them even found dates only one-week into the 30 day free trial period!

I strongly suggest you join a dating site where men have to pay. I have tried free dating sites for men and women and met complete assholes, pathological liars, guys who prey on women. If the guy has to pay to be on the site, he's more then likely going to be more genuine and there for the right reason.

look girl..u shouldnt be going on wesbsites to fidn your true love. besides you never can know how safe it really is even if it jis the "best" so dont just find love the odl fashioned way..

Lycos is pretty good but they are VERY fussy about the quality of your picture.
