YES, It is a mamal, of the order rodentia (mice, rats,squirles,guineapigs,hampsters,etc.) to be more precice. Mamels are caracterized by the following traits....
1) warm blooded
2)give birth to live young
3) supply milk to sustain that baby once it is born
4) have hair or fur. (even whales and seals have wiskers on their chins belive it or not.)
The only mamel that breaks these rules is a platupus(Austrailia), They actually lay eggs and males also have poisin glands in their back legs and conected to a hollow deu claw makeing them the only mamel to be poisinous and lay eggs. but they are still mamels.

Yes. Squirrels are mammals. Every single squirrel is a mammal. Unless, there's a squirrel fish, then that would be a fish and fishes aren't mammals, they're just plain fish.

good to see the american school system at work! draw a picture of a mammal... other countries are learning math and science, but we are teaching our kids how to draw a mammal.... and yet... this child can't even do that..... it's a mad world
