How thick are they? I read an article in Cook's Country that said cooking pork chops on low heat keeps them moist. I like to brown them on the stove, and then bake them in a covered pan with various veggies and a couple of apples.

First, the pork chops have to be completely thawed.
Then put some cooking oil in a pan and fry the pork chops on medium-high heat.
Cook until both sides are golden brown. At this time, the pork chops are still a bit raw in the middle.
Frying the -outside- of the pork chops seals in the juices.
Turn off heat.
Drain excess cooking oil from frying pan.
Finish off by baking in the oven at 350F for 10-15 minutes.
Check your frying pan and make sure it is "bake-proof".
Otherwise, transfer the pork chops to a baking pan before finishing in the oven.
Alternative finishing:
After the pork chops are golden brown, turn off the heat.
Remove any excess cooking oil.
Open a can of Condensed Mushroom/Chicken or Corn Soup.
Dilute with water to your desired gravy consistency.
Pour the soup mixture into the frying pan with the pork chops in it.
Finish off by cooking the pork chops in the condensed soup mixture. The heat from the boiling soup mixture will cook the chops.
The soup mixture, in this case, becomes a gravy.
Enjoy!

Beat an egg and dip each pork chop in the egg. Dredge them in Italian seasoned bread crumbs and fry them in a few tablespoons of vegetable oil until they're done, cooking over medium heat. How long it takes to cook them depends on how thick they are. This is my grandmother's method for cooking them, and it's no fail. Always moist and tender.

If you're grilling them, allow them to stand at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before grilling. Also allow them to rest for 5 minutes after grilling.
We get excellent results with pork chops with the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com. Enter the type of grill (gas or charcoal), thickness and desired doneness and it will give you instructions for how to grill pork chops so that they come out nice and juicy.

If you marinate the pork chops before cooking, try to put some corn starch in and mix it. The corn starch can keep it tender when you cook.

I marinate mine in soy sauce very quickly, sprinkle on salt and pepper then cook them on medium heat on the stove top with no fats. I like to deglaze the pan w/ apricot nectar and make a nice sauce/salad dressing with that.

Crock pot is always a winner for me. You can marinade them in a sauce of your choice for 1/2 hour and then place them in the crock pot on high for 4 to 6 hours or low for 2 to 4 depending on how many you are cooking.
Other options to marinade are: place them on top of a layer of sauerkraut in the crock, or on top of a layer of applesauce.

slowly with some marinade on the gril........or fry them quickly and then put them in your slow cooker with some mushroom gravy (white or brown) and leave it on low for a few hours while they tender up and absorb some of the liquid.......they are great both ways!!!! Good luck!
