At the top of Excel, click "DATA" then "GET EXTERNAL DATA", then "IMPORT TEXT FILE".

You will then need to change the "Original Data type" to
DELIMITED

and click next,
on the next page uncheck "TAB" and change it to "COMMA"

Then finally it will ask you what cell you want to put the data in.

Hi there.

Yeah, open the file within excel either thru the Data menu (inserting into existing worksheet) or opening the actual file as a new worksheet
Text Import Wizard will open up
under "Original Data type" choose Delimited
click Next>
Make sure Tab and Comma are the only ones checked and Text Qualifier is set to "
The next step you can set your data type (number, text etc)
once done click "Finish" and it's done

Hope this helps

Save the Excel file as a TXT file and edit it in a binary hex editor manually.

Looks like "comma seperated values".

You might try (Excel 2002) "Data": ("Text To Columns" or "Import External Data") Under Import External, select "text files"

Once you get it into excel, save as an ordinary Excel file.

You have it set as comma delimited, so just load it into Excel. Excel will format it for you.
