Why would they let you know if they really had cameras installed? To decrease their revenue? It's a bluff usually.

These are cameras operating full time, scanning for (as it says) aggressive drivers...
road rage, unsafe lane changes, etc...
They are scanned quickly using computer integration and key images where the computer thought something naughty was done are dropped into a folder for review by an officer, who then decides if they are gonna tag you for it or not... And yes, they can indeed see your license plate AND who is driving in many cases

What does "Aggressive Driver Imaging in Use" mean?

All the answers are wrong...and STUPID! If you live in NYC, then the plate means that the car belongs to a NYC Supreme Court justice(yes, NEW YORK CITY!)...NOT the NY State Supreme Court! The NYC Supreme Court operates in a similar fashion to the Superior Court of California(a a few other states, mostly in the Southwest!)...they're one step up from the NYC Civil and Family Courts! HTH...

They tell you to prevent you from doing unsafe lane changes, aggresive driving etc. They don't have the cameras there for their revenue but for traffic safety - if people know they will get caught and fined for something, they will not do it.
