What do I watch or listen for to know if angels or spirit guides are around me?

Feeling calm while feeling watched. Given inklings that you shouldn't go somewhere or do something and something happens. Phones ringing or tvs turning on with no one on the line or not switching the tv on. Hearing your name being called out when no one is around. Good feelings only should come.

How do know there is a God? It seems to me that humans just plain need a God. And if we need a God, a first cause, a love of life, then why not accept that there is a God. And it follows that God therefore needs other spirits to care for people during the day or night, and you can call these angels or spirits guides if you wish and so on.
Humans are forever needy and helpless in some ways. We are soft skins and subject to illness without our clothing or protective cover, and we are the same emotionally, psychically and spiritually.
Just think for a moment about how much we humans do not know. We have these wonderful brains in our head, but we are just learning as a species to understand what and how are brains our constructed and operate.
Just there inside our own head is a universe of unknowns. So, imagination is a tool of the brain. Without imagination we humans would still be swimming around in the ocean with fins or stuck in the garden of Eden doing gardening.

I think it might be just one thing like a symbol that, on certain days, you notice more often. On special occasions, I'm overwhelmed with roses. I hear songs about them, see them in pictures. I can smell them when none are around. I have dreams. Sometimes people who've never given me flowers before will give me a rose. Then other days are just normal.

They're communicating with you if you recieve communication from them. Otherwise, it's safe to say they most probably don't exist. If they did, they'd probably show themselves. There's no point in a guide you can't see or hear.
