Obsessive compulsive behaviours like this one are extremely common in dogs who do not get enough exercise/mental stimulation.
Your dog needs to get some good heart-pumping exercise for at least 20 minutes twice a day, (or more). Try that for a while and see if it stops.
If your dog already gets at least that much exercise, please take him/her to a vet! I'm sure he's not very comfortable.

You can try bitter apple spray available at all pet stores and spray it on the places that your dog licks, like for example, his paw. If its a wound he or she is targeting at, get an elizabeth collar which is shaped likea cone that you put over your dog's head to prevent lick/chewing of wounds after operations.

i don't commonly like asserting this, yet i think of an e-collar may be ultimate to your dogs. you are going to be able to additionally attempt giving her harder nutrients that's slightly too enormous to in great condition thoroughly in her mouth so she'll could discover ways to chew. you may confirm you're feeding her adequate, because of the fact if not that is a significant reason at the back of her obsession. attempt watching "that's Me Or the dogs" if none of this facilitates, and additionally you will even write to Victoria Stillwell.

first, i agree with the obessive/complusive behavior. there is also another cause too. allergies can cause a licking obession with dogs too. expecially around the foot area. it's an easy are to reach. talk to your vet to discuss your options to make sure that it;s not hurt/infected and have the paw examined. then go from there. but you do want to correct thr problem so it doesn't lead to infection and open sores.

Have you had your dog checked by a vet to be sure there is no physical problem with it's paw. If not, please do so. Good Luck
