I am curious about your "follow up question" and if you are just putting together a set-up for a slam dunk, but whatever. I really don't think you can corner me without an answer on this question.
I blelieve that Satan, Lucifer, the Devil, whoever you want to call him has influenced the start of other religions, yes. Basically I believe that Islam, Buddism, Hinduism, and even Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormon religions are and were directly influenced by Satan.
You have to understand that Satan was not always the Devil. His name was Lucifer. He was the head of all the angels. He was more beautiful and perfect than any of the other angles that God had created. He became prideful of his perfection and decided that he wanted to run Heaven. God ended the battle between them by casting Lucifer and the other 1/3 of the angels of Heaven who were his followers down to Earth.
Now Lucifer hates God. God loves man (His creation) so in turn Lucifer hates man and wants to keep them from obeying God. We are not talking about some cartoon character with a red suit. This angel was smart and powerful. He is the best liar you would ever meet.
I think of it this way: If you were Lucifer, and you hated God and man because God loved man, and God sent his son Jesus to sacrafice himself so that man could still be with God, how would you keep them from accepting that truth? Easy...you take some truth or some feel good mentality and you twist it around. Maybe just a little bit like JW or Mormons. It does not need to be much. Just enough to keep them from beleiving that Jesus died for their sins. Or you go one step further like Islam. You disguise yourself as an angel of light (which the Bible says he does) and convince some poor Arabic guy that you you are an angel and tell him to kill a bunch of Jews and force everyone to believe what you tell him. (Even Muhammed thought the "angel" might have been a demon until his family convinced him that it was an angel)
So your answer...yes, that is Satan's greatest tool aside from pride.

When Jesus dose return, he will bring all the Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Sheiks together that he will support as his followers. As if there was no truth in non of these non would not stand but Christianity. The same god is mention in the Koran is the same god that is mention in the Bible.
I have once been called into a tent, my eyes have been open, I now go forward that to go backward like a child.
If Jesus is god, who was he praying to in the garden of Getsenami? To the father that have sent him. God dose no pray or ever question himself. This was a question I asked when I was 8 years.
Jesus never did join a religion, but he did fulfil the Ten Commandments. Jesus will more return in spirit than in the flesh of a very strong presence.
Do you know that the very evangelist the preach as against adulterers and fornicators, are the very ones theirselves?

We sad little humans can not know the mind of God.
I have met some people who are under the influence of the devil. I'm sure the people at Jones Town were influenced. And those Heaven's Gate Hale Bop people.
But for the most part, I believe people not of my faith have been led to where they are by God. Maybe to test me. To see if I am a true member of his church following his commands. If I am "righteous" or if I am "self-righteous."
A great many Christians suffer from being self-righteous. Which is against the will of God.

Good question,I am a Church going Christian, but unfortunately (for me) I do tend to open my mouth if i see something wrong. I have come across many people at my own Church who believe that every other religion has it wrong and is evil. Quick bible reference here on judgement day Christ is going to kick out many who think they know him, " did you feed me when I was hungry etc" and welcome many who did not know him, those who did feed him (or anyone who was in need) If Christ existed as I believe then he was giving us an example, he loved everyone unconditionally therefore we should do the same. That to me does not sit well alongside hating Muslims Jews et al. It is my deeply held belief that salvation comes not only from faith but from practising that faith which requires us to love, respect, and live in harmony with all our brothers and sisters regardless of their colour or creed. A little illustration if I may, we have an alcoholic who attends our Church every Sunday although he is usually a wee bit under the weather, some of our congregation treat him like a leper. I wonder if they will be welcomed or criticised for not feeding him when he was hungry. May God go with you however you conceive him.

During my days as an active, genuine, 100%, evangelical born-again bible-toting door-knocking Christian, I received the wisdom that all alternative views, religious or not, belonged to "the world" and were sinful and satanic.
I was never terribly comfortable with it. After all, we Christians have butchered people by the thousand over the years. Meanwhile, Buddists were busy planting trees and stuff. Atheists have started some very nasty wars, to be sure, but atheism wasn't the core ideology that made those people do that.
The conclusion (to me) was that blaming the devil for stuff is the cheat's way out. Christians should take care of Now as fervently as they take care of Then. That means, even if you do dispute the origins of other faiths, acting like you don't.
That's all I'll say to this one, cos I'm an atheist nowadays. That, of course, means I'm no more attracted by ideas of Satan than by ideas of God.

Nah. Well I dont know, and to be honest I dont care. (Im not offending you when I say this btw) I just mean I dont care what satan chooses to do I love everyone as my brothers and sisters, no matter what their religious beliefs are.
Your not getting a good anser from me sorry, It's a good question but I don't know the answer. Why am I ansering it? God knows..
But, if it was Satan who made these relgious groups and so on other then christianity. I wouldn't see these people as no different to how I saw them before, just because they've joined a belief Satan created, they wern't to know and I respect them 100% for it.

Not necessarily, The Jews and Muslims have the 10 Commandments too and they both accept that Jesus existed, they just don't accept that he was a prophet (Jews) or our Saviour/Redeemer (Muslims)
The Jews are still waiting for their "redeemer", aren't they going to get a horrible shock, when Jesus comes back..,. They reckon that Jesus was just a very righteous man who might have been a Rabbi or something.
and, the Muslims, believe that although, Jesus was a prophet of God and had a miraculous birth, that he didn't die the way we Christians say he died... and also that Jesus isn't their redeemer... but they too will get a shock when Jesus comes back....
So no, Non-Christian religions are not necessarily the work of Satan, unless of course its Witchcraft or Satanism....

A Christian is somebody who believes interior the divinity of Jesus. Catholics are Christian. They declare to be the unique faith, yet it extremely is probable an exaggeration. nonetheless, it is the religion from which maximum Christian sects originate. Born-back is what extremely fanatical Christians call themselves. they're many times from a charismatic sect like Pentecostal or Baptist. "Are you saved" is something fanatical Christians ask to harass civilized human beings. they do no longer comprehend how conceited and presumptuous it extremely is, so we many times purely attempt to forget approximately approximately them. Jeesh, the Christians are pouring it on heavy with the persecution complicated right this moment. in case you adult adult males somewhat knew what it grew to become into % to have your ideals (or lack thereof) persecuted, you does no longer be whining approximately insolent atheists. you would be pissed, like the Muslims and atheists you notice right here.

You will find good in every faith, where there is good, there is God or godlike qualities, Jesus said-if you don't believe in me then believe in the things that I do. As a Christian I believe we have the FULLY revealed truth, but Satan still tries to lead us astray whoever or whatever we believe.

Please... don't be silly... any Christian who damns any other person's faith is not a Christian!
God speaks and spoke, through many prophets on the earth and is Himself, known by many names, all faiths serve one God... and originally, shared most of the same prophets!
God bless everyone and may they open to the Lord in any way they choose, as long as it is to Him they open, only!
The devil does exist... he works inside the Christian church as well as other faiths, he works outside them too, he's a busy bee, creating havoc everywhere... but if your heart is pure and you stay faithful to your creator, you'll know him and reject him... and still allow other people to worship how they please!
Christian
