First of all, lose the desperation. Why ? 2 reasons. (1) It makes you vulnerable to all the wrong men AND (2) Men, in general, tend to shy away from desperate women. Why ? Because, they figure that the woman in question is so desperate that she would settle for just any man and not neccessarily because the man is really worth having.

Your best bet is to make sure you're the Special Woman that a man wants to find.
Your attitude seems predatory, rather than caring and nurturing.
Try church, community activities, charities, etc.

Be busy in your purpose in life. And he will come to you. I think God has someone special for every woman, if she would not be hasty to go get him. Now I may sound old fashioned, but... while you are focused on helping you and others, God can bring him. But if you are rushing it, you may allow your emotions to lead you into something with someone who is not even really meant to be with you. God sees you. You have someone that was specially created to fit you and your personality.
Many woman follow their emotions tooooo much and it causes them muchhhhh pain, where God never meant for that. Let him come to you. You dont have to search the bars or anywhere else. He will cross your path when you are ready. Work on how you can compliment his life. And expect for him to come a nd compliment your life. But if he is to come in a few years, you will waste your time while your "wanting". Be busy. Dont be quick to search him out. The God that feeds tha birds daily while they dont really have to look to hard for the food, sees you too. Your like Eve, and he has your Adam. And believe me, you dont want him tooooo soon, he must be whole, not a broken or broke down man. And you too.
Be busy being whole, so that you can compliment his life, too. two hastey or broken people = destruction, pain, and the many consequences which carry with them ten more consequences that may be hidden too...hmmmm..patience. But sit there klike you are dieing, be busy with LIFE.
You are not a half woman. You are to feel whole, and ok to wait. Be busy in your specail destination, be busy in your special and unique purpose. No one can do you, like you. Meaning, no one can be the perfect you, like you.
Oh, and church is a good spot. It is for real people, with real life things going on, and they want a better life. You DONT want a stagnant man. You want one not proud, but courageous. You want one one not toooo busy, but yet a hard worker. you want one that is not too clingy, but yet loving. You want one that is not selfish, so that he thinks and reasons well on what he would like to be leaving behind as a LEGACY. See, selfish people ONLY live for SELF. you want some one who is wise but not boring, who can have fun with you and perhaps your children, later, and he does not lead you and your little family into fun that carries regrets at the end of it. You want a leader to partner with you, a strong, WHOLE, sure woman.

DONT you search so much. AND most def, DONT you ever settle for a scuffy rock, when God WOULD give you a JEWEL. Good things come to those who wait. ADAM, in tha bible, inthe Garden of Eden, He would of never wanted Eve to come search him out. But if a guy comes to you, check out his mind, and emotions. God didnt mean for Eve to go and swing through tha jungle hastily to search for her Adam, cause she may have settle for an animal. A real donkey, for a lack of a better name.

your adam will come to you. LET HIM GROW UP. And you continue to do so too. He might be around the jungle corner. Let him be done with horsing around and swinging in tha vines.
