I prefer to make mine into a "body of christ" sandwich, layering the wafer between slices of ham and cheese. Also, "body of christ" apple snacks are wonderful too! Contact me if you would like the reciepe.

No you should have an empty stomach when you take the Eucharist.
It used to be we were supposed to fast for 24 hours before we took it ... then it lessened to no food in the morning ... then evening masses were added, so the rule now is no eating 1 hour before taking the Eucharist ... this includes toothpaste, gum, and other foods & drinks.

You may believe what you will and you may mean this to be funny but you are insulting the beliefs of a lot of people. Why? Try respecting others' beliefs. Some people will say things like the then complain when Christians say things just as offensive to them.
