Well, you buy a roast, like a beef eye round roast, and cook it for a while in a medium heat oven. I don't think it's "roasted" like when you buy a roasted chicken. I think it's more based off the cut of the meat.

It's a particular type of beef roast ( cut of beef), that is meant to be roasted. But, pepole can prepare a roast beef many different ways, actually.

Yes, it would be, otherwise it wouldn't be roasted when it was done.
