The ENGINE heats up or your CABIN heats up?
it's normal for an engine to run hotter when AC is in use. Once that belt engages, the engine has to turn a compressor pulley, so it's doing more work. It'll especially be noticable in stop and go traffic, where you aren't moving enough air over the radiator. And if your radiator is full of water, you should have it flushed and filled with a proper mix of water - antifreeze (which prevents boiling too)

As someone said, either there is no flow through on the condenser (Bugs or other things blocking air flow in) or the cooling fan is not operating properly (the high portion may not be kicking in)
Best to check with a service center so they may diagnose it.... as without finding out what's actually happening (even a blocked radiatior internally can cool with no a/c but not be able to deal with the extra heat coming from the a/c
does going over 40mph help? Max airflow (through the condenser and radiator) happens at 40mph and above (technically the vehicle movement is cooling the radiator more than the cooling fan is at that speed)

Your AC evaporator sits in front of the radiator. As you run your AC, this heats up and air passing thru it is supposed to dissipate this heat... it may have gotten blocked with insect bodies and such and need to be cleaned. If you are not familiar with working on engines, DO NOT DO THIS on your own... take it to a competent shop and have it done... YOU CAN, however check it yourself... just look thru the grill while a friend holds a light shining from the fan side...

AC puts a lot of load on your engine. As long as it doesn't actually overheat then you probably are ok.
Keep an eye on the temperature gauge, and if it starts going past the hot line, then you might have problems.
You might want to take your car in and have the AC coolant level checked.

in case you do no longer pop off the plastic lens and do away with the bulb your vehicle won't initiate in the morning. i'd wager that considered one of your door switches is sticking or is shorted. make beneficial they are fastened wisely so they are in a position to function like they could. as quickly as you come out the bulb you will no longer have something to be stricken approximately. good good fortune.
