I saw a TV advertisement for a product that removed pestisides, and wax from fruit, but can't remember what it was, or where to buy it.

Just peel or cut off the outside of the fruit will do the trick.

That product tends to be expensive (I don't know why). I just use a mild solution of liquid Castile Soap marketed as "Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap". It's available in most health food stores. I use it to wash all fruit and vegetables.

that stuff is expensive-I make my own. I squeeze the juice of a lemon into a mix of half water, half hydrogen peroxide, with a pinch of salt and a splash of white vinegar. I soak the fruit or veggie in a shallow bowl with the solution for a few minutes, then rinse really well with fresh water.

You can use that Fit fruit and vegetable spray. My sister uses it and it works well. I think it's kept in or near the produce section.

I've seen it in the grocery produce department, but cannot remeber what it's called. Why don't you try buying organically grown fruits and vegetables?

It is just soap, don't waste your money. I pour boiling water over my apples when I don't peal them. It makes the skin softer and i just like warm apples. :-)
