I am currently expecting my second (and last child). I really want to get back into shape once the baby is born, so my husband and I are seriously considering purchasing a Boxflex home gym (he wants to use it as well). We already have purchased a good quality elliptical machine, so we want something that will work on muscle tone and definition. Plus, I hate free weights. Has anyone had good results with it? Does it only take 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week like they claim? Also, which model would you recommend?

Thanks a lot!

I own a Bowflex Ultimate 2 which is good for training every muscle group. I've had it for 2 years now and it works great. I definitely see a difference in my strength and muscle definition. The only thing is that it won't take you 6 weeks to get in shape if you work out 3 times a week for 20 minutes. You have to put in at least 40-45 minutes 4-5 times a week to get good results. I highly recommend it though.......good luck!

LIke any exercise, you get out of it what you put into it. If you only do 20 minutes a day x 3, don't expect much. Forget the advertisements, it's about how much work you make your body do. 20 x 3 will tone you a little in the short term, but you'll see the changes slow down and cease very quickly. and that's only if 20x3 is an increase from what you already do. So, yes, 20x3 will show some results for a couch potato, but not much. You'll have to work for your fitness. That's just the way the body works.

of direction it does. Any exercising software works, yet provided which you persist with with the aid of and do the artwork. identifying to purchase it and assembling it are not sufficient. while you're already getting consequences with our exercising consultation, the only reason to pay for the bowflex could be convenience.

If you use it. Some people buy the thing, and all it does is collect dust after a month or so.
