The size in feet and inches=12 ft 6" X 15 ft 3"
Converting these numbers to Sq. Yards by multiplying width by length will not be accurate.

Using 12 foot carpet, this will use 25 SQ YARDS, assuming that your measurements were taken into doorways and a few inches allowed for seaming. I have allowed a few inches in my calculations.

There will be a main cut 12' X 12' 6". A fill is needed, which I have figured in two pieces. Waste will be 5' X 6' 3". Approx. 3 1/3 sq. yds.

By making the fill in three pieces uses approx. 23 sq. yards. Waste will be 5' X 4' and is a fraction more than 2 yds.

This may vary on confirmation of measurements.

There are 36 inches in a yard

so the size of your room is 4.2 yards x 5.1 yards (150/36 and 183/36)

Therefore you have 4.1 x 5.1 square yards which works out as roughly 21.5 square yards but they will probably only sell you in whole square yards which means you will need 22 square yards.

in the experience that your room is 6 metres long and 3 metres extensive and the carpet width is 4m then all the carpet layer would could do is decrease the surplus off at one side. you will purchase a carpet 6m long by using 4m extensive so what has the style of widths to do with something? while you're not sure purely ask in the carpet save.

1 yard = 36 inches
therefore 150 inches/36=4.16 yards
and 183inches/36=5.08 yard
or 21.13 square yards.

150 divided by 12 = 12.5 feet
183 divided by 12 = 15.25 feet

12.5 x 15.25 = 190.63 square feet

190.63 divided by 9 = 21.18 square yards

sounds like they answered your question, but one other thing you need to consider. most carpet comes in 12 foot wide rolls. you'll need to account for the extra needed for seaming in the difference, or special order the 15 foot goods. you may want to talk to the installer. he may have some additional input or recommendations, based on his knowledge and experience.
