Mine went up a size and never went down, even after losing the added weight. The swelling went away, but not the extra length. I read it has something to do with the hormone in the body that prepares you for childbirth by making your ligaments stretch out. I had to buy almost all new shoes.

I've heard an old wive's tale that says that your feet will grow an inch with each pregnancy. I am sure that is untrue. Yes, my best friend's feet were swollen for a while, it will go down. Water retention I assume.
Congrats on your new baby! :)

mine didn't. I have 3 boys and with each one my feet moved up a shoe size. I started out a size 7 and now I wear size 10's. Some people do get their original foot size back. Isn't it funny how giving birth changes your body forever?!

Mine were up 1/2 size and never went back. I was told that they do go up either 1/2 to a whole size.

I have heard that the swelling reduces, but most women's feet remain a half to a full size larger than before they were pregnant.

sure, but they should have went down by now. Are you staying on your feet too much? Are you propping them up like you should? If they don't go down soon, contact your doctor and let him/her know. They may have to give you something for your feet.

Sometimes its the extra weight, so as you loose weight your feet should go back to normal.
