That's not a usual side-effect of metformin, but it may be an interaction with some other drugs you might be taking. Consult your doctor to see about potential interactions, or altering dosage of the metformin

Most people get an upset stomach from metformin and a few get headaches. Metformin should be started slowly, then increased over a few weeks to lessen the side effects. Dry eyes is not a usual side effect of metformin.

Talk to your pharmacist. They will be able to help you. I don't know your initial dose or other medications.

You need to let your doctor know this, you might be getting the wrong dose! Call up your doctor right now and tell him about this, you really could be in danger of having much worse problems!
