I would suggest using leave in conditioner after you shower and also if you are going to straighten your hair or blow dry it, expose it to any kind of heat. I would recommend aussie's leave in conditioner or Garnier, I have used both and they help keep my hair very soft since I straighten my hair constantly as well. So after you shower, towel dry your hair then rub in some leave in conditioner then before straightening or blow-drying spray on some V-05 Miracle Mist which is cheap and works really well, using both will really help keep your hair from over drying and they don't make your hair look greasy or anything and they smell good too, so you don't have soft moist hair that smells like cleaning products. Also try using Aussie's Moist Shampoo and Conditioner with the 3 minute miracle which is a deep conditoner that really infuses your hair with alot of moisture, I use all of these products they are relatively cheap, the shampoo and conditioner run about 3-4 dollars a bottle, the miracle mist is like 4 bucks and the leave in conditioner is about 3-4 dollars as well. They work really well for me, I blow dry and straighten my hair everyday and it's still super soft and moist all day. Also if your hair won't grow, make sure you are getting enough iron in your diet which plays the biggest part in hair growth. Hope that Helps! Good Luck!!

Paul Mitchell has a great conditioner that moisturizes your hair. Check the salon and ask about Paul Mitchell products. They are kind of expensive BUT, if you want healthy long hair, it is completely worth the money. Also, use a spray that is for heat when you straighten and blow dry your hair so you can protect your hair from heat damage.

Make sure you use decent conditioner when you wash it, that should keep it nice and soft. As for growing it long...not so sure about that, just wait see what happens. I don't think straightening your hair prevents growth, I straighten mine all of the time!
One of my mates used to say she got her hair trimmed regularly because it helped it grow long - not sure if she was right though lol.

Ur hair needs a hair moisturizer i think Pantene is good and also apply hair oil before a wash apply oil to the roots then take hot towel and cover ur hair for a while this will improve the texture of ur hair. And try and keep ur hair as natural as possible too much exposure to the hairdryer destroys the hair structure

Get it deep conditioned at a salon every 4-6 weeks. Use a leave on conditioner in addition to your regular conditioner. I like Aveda's elixir. Also, use a protective product (most come in sprays) when flat ironing. It'll keep the heat from damaging your hair.

You need to get a straightner on it. My mother gets one on her hair. It is around $500 and you only do it once a year. She has very curly hair and it kepps hers straight. She still uses a curling iron only to give the ends a little "ump". My younger sister got it on her haid also and it looks great. Email me if you want to know more. I will ask her what it is called next time I talk to her so give me a few days and Ill let you know.

You will have to keep it conditioned. I deep condition my hair about 2 to 3 times a week.
