Adam who was also mentioned as the son of God?
Adam the Son of God?
Luke 3:38
.... which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

begotten is no different than the creation of Adam, Jesus has been created by God inside his mother womb, from blood, into meat, into bones, eyes, legs, and origins....JESUS is JUST LIKE ADAM.

son of God = an honor servent to God.

NO! NO! NO! Jesus is begotten, meaning that He was not made from anything, just dust like Adam. Jesus has always been here, from the beginning with the Father and the Spirit. It's through Jesus that the Father created the world. It was through the Spirit that the Father breathed life into Adam. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. He is the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God the Father. He died but never returned to dust, He returned to His Father in Heaven.

Adam and the rest of mankind are not begotten. We were created from dust and will return to dust. God created man. He didn't create Jesus. He PUT Jesus in Mary's womb.

Boy! When you get a thought, you really hang in there!
Jesus and Adam were similar as regards being sons of God, with one little difference.
The difference is mentioned in Colossians 1:15-16.
"He (Jesus) is the firstborn of all creation; because by means of him all other things were created. "
Hence:
Jesus was a DIRECT creation by God ....making him a bit unique, or "only begotten" according to some translations.
All others (including Adam) were created by God THROUGH Jesus.
So Adam is a son of God, but with a small difference from Jesus.

Adj. 1. begotten - (of offspring) generated by procreation; "naturally begotten child"
biological - of parents and children; related by blood; "biological child"

Jesus is nothing like Adam. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit not created by dust like Adam. The Holy Spirit makes Adam and Jesus unique from each other.

Adam was created out of clay, out of nothing, Jesus was created by the union of God with Mary, divine and human, making him the only begotten Son. He was made not created. God bless and good question, continue to search for truth.

Jesus Christ is the only body God dwelt in himself
God is a spirit, (John 4:24) a spirit has no body of it's own

1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,

Adam was made in the prophetic image of Christ

Jesus was begotten. Adam was created.

Jesus is God - - "begotten, not created" - The Creed of St. Athanasius.

Really - dude - this is elementary stuff here. Go to Church and stop bothering this forum.

Yes but Jesus is also Deity....

For all the fulness of the Godhead bodily dwells in Him.

John 8:58 "Before Abraham ever was, I AM"

[112:003] He begets not, nor was He begotten.

We're all spiritually the sons and daughters of God.

Jesus being begotton means he actually got some of that immortal God DNA (whatever that looks like) in his body. Adam, nor anyone else, ever got that.
