My boyfriend is diabetic and can be a complete *** when he gets low. He came home from lunch and we were talking and i said he was being grumpy and he said "that's because i'm low leave me the F alone" so i stopped talking to him. he then said soemthing rude about me being quiet and i said i was checking my taxes and leaving him alone. He then stomped out of the house without saying a word to me all pissed off. When i said "are you mad because i left you alone when you asked?" he slammed the door.

Well he is **** surely! The way you dealt with it was the best way. He will come down to the reality. Its hard, but there is very little you can really do. He should not use his diabetic status as an excuse to misbehave!
Wait for him when his condition is perfect right, and have a friendly discussion with him, just to let him know that you are also a human being and need to be treated with respect as he should.
