God certainly can, and does, present the opportunities. Sometimes we, either party, aren't watching God and end up waiting for the wrong thing. The gift was in front of us the whole time.

It takes two to tango. Both people have to make the right decision for a relationship to happen.

I heard a sermon once kinda about that. If 'bait' wasn't attractive, the fish wouldn't bite. And if the fish wasn't hungry, he wouldn't be fishing!
So, yeah, I do believe satan dangles tasty morsels infront of us especially when we're looking. Temptation....
I don't think it always is before a blessing, though! God can answer us while the prayer is still in our hearts! ,,, Genesis 24:15 "Before he finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder."

good question, and according to the bible the devil is here to kill still and destroy, i would think the answer is yes in some cases, because all to often people end up being tempted when their goal is right around the corner.

I think that there is no God and no Satan and that we're responsible for all the choices we make in life.
