It is not in words although all words emanate from it. It is not in hearing although all hearing emanates from it. It is not in touch although all touch emanates from it. It is not in sight but in the seeing. It can not be named as it is unnameable. Everything has life in it although it is beyond birth and death. It is the first cause that has no cause. It is the original ground of being.

Do you mean the Sacred Mystery or the Great Mystery?
There are several spiritual references that include the word mystery. Please be more specific.
The one that I use is not a secret in the sense you mean it. It is a practical reference. If I grasp your thought at all.
I refer sometimes to the Great Mystery. It is a term used by First Nations spiritual elders where I am. It is all that lies beyond our human understanding. It is a powerful humility that grasps this meaning. So it is not for free.
In art the closest equivelent is refered to as the Sublime. That does not refer to anything sensual or in the small sense as with a phrase like he was in a staight of sublime innocence. It refers to the awe inspired fear or overwhelmingness of an experience that reminds us that there are powers beyond our immagination.
The paintings of William Turner would have inspired thoughts of the Sublime during his time. He had himself tied to the mast of a ship and then went out on the ocean in the middle of a life threatening storm to experience the Sublime. He wouldn't have called it that in the context that we do now, but that is it. Imagine doing that and then imagine doing it spiritually. It isn't possible to give that away you have to do it.
I don't play games, much. Some things are just practical and some games are just about exclusivity. If you told people you would be open to critical assessment. If you tell people that are not ready to understand something, they will know only a route knowledge and not understand. Some will recognise this and continue some will not. The ones that do not, I believe, are closed anyway.
When people discover on their own they own that knowledge and it is stronger. I know. I agree with you.
But true seekers, the ones that wil make it anyway, never stop stop seeking regardless of the form the stepping stones take. Lazy minds rest on their laurels.
I am familiar with Zen riddles ( I spent some time in a Korean Canaadian Zen temple) and the Christian Medieval English style of spiritual riddles. They are mutually quite amazing. My favorite English poem of this sort was The Pearl. So beautiful...sigh. Really.
Actually this has enspired me to look it up. I still have the book packed away some where.
Anyway, I do enjoy my jonts with you lot! Carry on!
Peace.

The term Sacred Mysteries generally denotes the area of supernatural phenomena associated with a divinity or an religious ideology. Because I know, there is no reason for me to speak in riddles, so others will look for what it means and maybe experience it!

The Sacred Mystery of the Cosmos is a book explaining Johannes Kepler's cosmological theories. The Sacred Mystery School offers training regarding the Angels and Ascended Masters. SoulfulLiving.com thinks it's a journey through a Labyrinth. CatholicLiturgy.com thinks it is the eucharist.
In reality, the sacred mystery is why otherwise normal people keep insisting that there is some kind of sacred knowledge out there.

To me the only Sacred "Mystery" is how a virgin has a baby.
Find me a virgin and I'll continue to seek to experience the answer.

:-)............. this "time space" has become corrupted by incorrect ideas that have manifested through ignorance. A flaming sword from the mouth is nearly ready to slice the flesh of those who believe in it. How about you?
